This is kind of a silly review, but this might be a show worth seeing. A show about the history of food photography at The Getty. Details here.
I think to go along with that it'd be interesting to see a Show about food photographs that hve been used through the years for like recipe books. I have a ton of recipe books and sometimes the way they photograph the finished product it is incredible and it seems like there are certain qualities that define a certain era in food photography.
ReplyDeleteI find food photography interesting but never really thought it'd escape the mere blog-post photo. It'll be interesting to see food photography as "works of art."
